Orient Planet represents Middle East at Eurocom Worldwide’s 2014 Conference

Agency shares key regional perspectives, backs global PR network’s positive market outlook

Orient Planet PR & Marketing Communications, one of the Middle East’ s most rapidly growing public relations (PR), marketing and communications consultancies, represented the region during Eurocom Worldwide’s annual conference which was held recently in Stockholm, Sweden. Nidal Abou Zaki, Managing Director of Orient Planet, joined a distinguished panel of 25 PR leaders from 17 countries and 4 continents to discuss the opportunities and challenges awaiting the global PR community.

During the annual conference, Eurocom Worldwide, an independent global PR network with 29 owner–managed agencies focusing on marketing consultation and PR as members, confidently predicted a period of solid growth for its international business in 2014. The group operates in 61 national capitals and centers of commerce with more than 850 customers.

Orient Planet agreed with Eurocom Worldwide’s positive outlook for 2014 and noted that the Middle East’s resurgent business climate and robust economy make the region an important PR and marketing hub. The company added that the access to global expertise facilitated by Eurocom Worldwide will be vital to enabling local PR practitioners to cater to current market needs and adhere to the best international practices.

65 percent of Eurocom Worldwide associates said that they expect growth in their business in 2014, up from only around half the membership experiencing growth in 2013. For 2014, 30 percent anticipate stabilization, whereas only 5 percent expect a decrease in business in the coming few months. The broadly positive expectations were also reflected by the number of participants at the conference, with representatives of all continents and regions within the network attending, including the US, Mexico, Brazil, Middle East, Asia and Europe.

During the conference hosted by local Eurocom Worldwide partner agency Cloudberry Communications, Isabel Radwan was announced as the new network coordinator for Eurocom Worldwide. Robin Baker, Chairman of Eurocom Worldwide, also received the Chairman’s Award for 2013, in recognition of his 10 years of outstanding contribution and dedication to developing, strengthening and guiding the network. US partner agency Ripple Effect was also honored for 10 years of membership and outstanding engagement with the network.
